Jefferson Telecom will host a St Patrick’s Day bake sale Monday, March 17, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm in the company showroom at 105 W. Harrison, Jefferson. All proceeds will go to the Relay for Life of Greene County.
Items will not be priced but will be available for a donation. Last year generous buyers donated more than $500 in exchange for sweet treats, and organizers are hoping to raise even more this year.
“Jefferson Telecom welcomes the opportunity to participate in finding a cure for cancer through Relay for Life,” said bake sale organizer Alicia Sloan. “Each of us in the Telecom office has been personally touched by someone who has battled this selfish disease. Anything we can do to help those who have been or may be involved in this fight is the lease we can do.”
“Hopefully you can find a lucky treat for St Patrick’s Day and we can spread that luck to Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society research team,” Sloan continued.
